Audrey represents clients in complex disputes at all levels of court. She has a broad commercial and public law practice, including constitutional and human rights law and a range of administrative and regulatory matters. In 2018, the Supreme Court of Canada appointed Audrey as amicus curiae in Bell, NFL and Vavilov, a landmark set of three administrative law appeals that reshaped the standard of review in Canadian administrative law.
Audrey has acted as lead counsel in several constitutional, administrative and commercial law cases, including Center for Gender Advocacy & als v. A.G. Quebec, the most comprehensive constitutional challenge involving the rights of trans, non-binary and intersex people in Canada to date. She also regularly represents interveners in public interest cases.
A former clerk to Chief Justice Beverley McLachlin, P.C., Audrey previously practiced in New York and taught at Columbia Law School. Audrey was the 2018-2019 President of the Canadian Bar Association, Quebec Division and has taught Civil Procedure at the Faculties of Law of the University of Montreal and McGill.
