For over 25 years, Phil Iovieno has represented plaintiffs and defendants in the areas of antitrust and other complex commercial litigation. Iovieno has extensive experience in federal and state courts throughout the country and the results he has obtained for clients on both sides of the “v” speak for themselves.
On the plaintiff side, Iovieno regularly represents corporations, hedge funds and other financial institutions in claims involving antitrust, financial markets, contracts and RICO. In the antitrust area, he recently recovered more than $750 million for a group of corpo¬rations who opted out of the In re TFT-LCD Antitrust Litigation and In re Cathode Ray Tube Antitrust Litigation class actions. He is currently representing corporations who have opted out of the In re Capacitors Antitrust Litigation and In re Broiler Chicken An¬titrust Litigation classes, and a medical supply manufacturer in a case alleging its primary competitor violated the antitrust laws through illegal tying arrangements.

Iovieno has been active in the community throughout his professional life. He has handled a variety of pro bono cases, including representing multiple widows before the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund and other pro bono litigants in federal and state court. Iovieno and his brother established a charitable foundation that for over 20 years has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars to children throughout New York and Massa¬chusetts who suffer from chronic, life-threatening illnesses and their families.
