Sam Adams is a civil trial lawyer in New Mexico, named by Benchmark Litigation as one of the 2017 Top 250 Women in Litigation. She has also been previously recognized by Southwest Super Lawyers® as one of the Top 25 lawyers in New Mexico. Sam represents businesses, government and non-profit organizations over a spectrum of industries regarding business and operations including among other issues: insurance, construction, employment, education, tort and healthcare disputes. To assist clients in avoiding litigation, Sam also advises businesses and trains management/staff. Some of the training areas are insurance coverage, employer/employee disputes, contract relations and negotiations, covenants not-to-compete, trade practices, and safety practices.
Sam has advised such clients as BHP Billiton, Turner Enterprises Inc., TA Operating Inc., Albuquerque Public Schools (one of the 30 largest school districts in the U.S.), New Mexico Cancer Center, San Juan Coal Company, Domestic Violence Resource Center, New Mexico Community Capital, Century Administration, New Mexico Legal Aid, EM Inc. and McRogers Inc. d/b/a Sadie's Restaurants, Sparkle Maintenance, Yearout Mechanical, New Mexico Legal Aid, A-1 Scaffolding Manufacturing, Inc., and numerous other successful local and national businesses. Sam has also done copious insurance defense work with numerous insurers including Fireman's Fund, CHUBB, Mountain States Insurance Group, CNA, Allstate Insurance, Gemini Insurance, Nautilus Insurance, Hanover Group and many others.

Sam has served in a volunteer capacity for many years on the Board of Directors, including five years on the Executive Committee, for the Alumni Association of the University of New Mexico School of Law; is on the Board for the Albuquerque Bar Association and represents not-for-profits in a volunteer capacity as pro bono General Counsel.
Many years prior to attending law school, Sam was an apprentice paralegal and legal secretary, later joining Farmers Insurance Company of Arizona as a Senior Claims Representative in litigation. Today, Sam serves as an adjunct faculty member at the University of New Mexico School of Law. Sam is a Managing Partner at ADAMS+CROW in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
