Partner of the firm since 2000 and member of the strategic Committee. Focuses on international transactions, tax audits, transfer pricing, tax litigation, and tax planning. He has represented clients in tax litigation at both federal and state levels. Various important court precedents have been created by cases in which he has been involved.

He has postgraduate studies in Tax Law (Universidad Panamericana & St. Thomas University, Houston) and Finance (Universidad Iberoamericana).

Representative clients include Colgate Palmolive, Immunotec, Eli Lilly, Aeromexico, Saint Gobain, Sandvik, Noble Energy, SC Johnson & Son, Costco de Mexico, Pay Human Group, JP Morgan, Bank of America, and Herdez, among others.

He is one of the tax lawyers that has handled more tax cases before the Taxpayers attorney general’s office (Prodecon), using the legal tool called “conclusive agreement”, which is and alternative way to resolve tax conflicts.

He is the Former World President of the Tax Committee of LexMundi, National President of the Association of Corporate Lawyers (Asociación Nacional de Abogados de Empresa, Colegio de Abogados A.C.) for the two-year period 2011-2012. Is an active member of the International Fiscal Association and the Taxation Section of the International Bar Association. He is also part and active participant of the International VAT Association, ICC Mexican Tax Chapter, and some others.
