Regional Managing Partner of BLG’s Ottawa office and a member of the National Management Committee. Civil litigator who practises in many areas of civil litigation with an emphasis on insurance/personal injury law, product recalls and regulatory matters, product liability, stockbroker negligence, access to information, commercial litigation, and administrative law. Has made appearances as counsel in all courts in the Province of Ontario and the Federal Court of Canada. National leader of BLG’s Insurance and Tort Law Group 2010–2020, as well as regional coordinator of BLG’s Product Liability Professional Group and Securities Litigation Focus Group. Former member of BLG’s Partnership Board and former leader of BLG’s Ottawa Litigation Department (2005–10). Selected by peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in Canada in the field of insurance law and personal injury litigation since 2010. Recognized as the Insurance Litigator of the Year by the 2018 Benchmark Canada awards.
Education: Received BComm from Carleton University (1991) and LLB from the University of Toronto (1994).
