Partner and member of BLG’s Construction Group and International Trade and Arbitration Group. Practises commercial and construction litigation. Specializes in complex cases. Involved as lawyer or arbitrator in several large-scale disputes, nationally and internationally, concerning major infrastructural projects ranging from electrical power plants to highways and bridges, aluminium smelters, petrochemical plants, gas pipelines, hospitals, and stadiums. Author and guest speaker on the topics of construction law, the law of evidence, and arbitration. Graduated from McGill University Law School with a BCL and LLB and from the University of London (LSE and UCL) with an LLM in international business transactions. Called to the Québec Bar in 1988. Selected by peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in Canada, the Lexpert®/ALM 500 Directory, Who's Who Legal: Canada, and the International Who's Who of Construction Lawyers. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers. Serves regularly as a trainer in workshops for younger lawyers on the art and techniques of trial advocacy.
