Head of the Dispute Resolution Department (Litigation and Arbitration), Professor Martuccelli is Full Professor of Private Law at University of Rome LUISS. He advises Italian and international clients on complex litigation on civil and commercial law matters, class actions, and corporate law in both in court and arbitration proceedings. He is appointed arbitrator in ad hoc and institutional arbitrations. He also provides out-of-court consultancy on private law with a focus on commercial contracts, corporate acquisitions, national and international commercial arbitration, investment arbitration.
Recently, Silvio has been appointed as board member of the Italian Association for Arbitration; furthermore, he is member of the Guarantee Tribunal for Sport of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). He is Chairman of the Commission for the Bar Exam 2017 for the Court of Appeal of Rome. By appointment of the Bank of Italy he has been member of the Surveillance Committee for the Extraordinary Administration of Banca Etruria e del Lazio S.p.A.
