António Pinto Leite is a founder partner of Morais Leitão. He is one of the founding partners of J. Galvão Teles, Bleck, Pinto Leite (1992) and of Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles (1994) which led to the establishment of Morais Leitão.

He heads the litigation and arbitration department as well as the international arbitration team. He has vast expertise as a lawyer and as an arbitrator in various national and international arbitrations, but also in particularly complex disputes.

He is the Chairman of the Portuguese Arbitration Association. In addition, he has experience and recognition among the ICC International Court of Arbitration: Portuguese Member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration (2016-2018) and Chairman of the Portuguese Committee of the International Court of Arbitration. National and International Conferencist in the subject of Arbitration law.

António Pinto Leite was an Assistant Professor at the University of Lisbon School of Law and at the Law School of the Catholic University of Portugal. Professor at the Postgraduate course in Arbitration at the Faculty of Law, Nova University of Lisbon.

He was the President of ACEGE – Association of Christian Entrepreneurs and Managers and a member of the Superior Council of Magistracy, elected by the Assembly of the Republic.
