Anisah Hassan practises class actions, commercial litigation, information & technology litigation, and securities litigation.
Anisah has expertise in a variety of matters, including contractual disputes, intellectual property and complex international arbitrations.
Anisah has represented clients before all levels of court in Ontario as well as the Ontario Securities Commission. Anisah also acts as counsel for Google on a variety of matters, including representing Google in a Reference Application concerning whether there is a “right to be forgotten” in Canada.
Anisah has particular expertise in deploying new technologies in the courtroom and was involved in the first all iPad trial in Ontario, a trial that was featured in the Financial Times’ ranking of Most Innovative North American Law Firms in 2016. Anisah is fluent in English and French and is a former National Bilingual Debate Champion.
