Biography
Cameron maintains a diverse litigation practice focused on commercial disputes and matters involving fraud, conspiracy, defamation, civil sexual assault, professional liability and employment law. He has acted at all stages of administrative, arbitration and court proceedings — appearing at trial and appellate courts across Canada and before administrative tribunals including the British Columbia Securities Commission, the Insurance Councils Appeal Board of Alberta and the Ontario Labour Relations Board.
Recent matter/case highlights
Limelight Capital Services Inc. v. WonderFi Technologies Inc., 2025 BCSC 1916 - Successfully defended a case at trial regarding an alleged bonus contract, obtaining a full dismissal of the action.
Diverse Transportation v. Chen, 2025 ONCA 786 - Successfully defended an Anti-SLAPP motion and subsequent appeal, obtaining a dismissal of the motion and a $50,000 costs award against the unsuccessful moving party.
- Franklin v. Alberta (Life Insurance Council), 2026 ABKB 86 - Successfully appealed a decision of the Insurance Councils Appeal Board of Alberta, obtaining an order setting aside the decision in full.
