Clint is a commercial litigator, trial lawyer, and problem solver. Clint has extensive trial experience in federal and state courts throughout the country. He advises established Fortune 100 companies, high-tech start-ups, and clients in between those growth stages on their material commercial disputes and intellectual property matters. Clint principally litigates cases involving trade secrets and intellectual property, contractual and business disputes, and advertising matters.
Clint’s successful representations include defeating a preliminary injunction in the Southern District of New York in a Lanham Act false advertising case; obtaining a favorable resolution to a >$100M dispute for a start-up company against a Fortune 100 company; obtaining a preliminary injunction for an infrastructure fund manager against a high-level state official and then navigating a favorable settlement; playing a key role on a team that won a $2 billion jury verdict in a trade secrets case; winning a trial in federal court over the return of historic painting owned by a university; and playing a key role on a team that obtained a defense jury verdict in a >$800M intellectual property dispute.
Clint also maintains an active pro bono practice and previously served as the Secretary of the Federal Bar Council’s Public Service Committee. Clint is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School and a magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Georgetown University.
- Successfully defended a pharmaceutical company against a preliminary injunction in Lanham Act litigation regarding the presentation of the efficacy of the company's medication.
- Defending Charter Communications against claims brought by EarthLink, LLC alleging that Charter’s customer service representatives defamed EarthLink and that Charter refuses to return certain IP Addresses that EarthLink supplied under the parties’ High-Speed Service Agreement.
- Representing life sciences companies Seraphina Therapeutics and Epitracker in patent and false advertising litigation against Agoura Health Products, LLC d/b/a Gundry MD and its founder, resulting in a favorable settlement.
