Biography

Colin Watterson is a litigator who advises and advocates for businesses and individuals in a wide range of legal disputes, including complex commercial matters and tort cases. His goal always is to secure the best possible results for his clients through strategic thinking and efficient action, approaching every phase of litigation with meticulous care, precision, and a pragmatic outlook.

Prior to joining Hicks Thomas, Colin worked at a Houston litigation boutique, where his practice involved representing both plaintiffs and defendants in diverse commercial controversies. Before entering private practice, he served as a law clerk for Judge John Rogers at the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Colin is also keenly interested in the intersection of law and technology, particularly in leveraging the latest tools to benefit his clients. He has a particular focus on artificial intelligence and the ways in which those tools can be used effectively and responsibly to enhance his client services.
