Darlene Crimeni maintains a thriving practice in corporate and commercial litigation. Darlene has acted for business clients in a broad range of disputes including contract law, construction claims, maritime litigation, shareholder rights, securities regulation, professional negligence and a variety of other commercial issues.
A seasoned litigator, Darlene represents clients in complex commercial disputes, including contract and shareholder conflicts, product liability claims, and regulatory matters. She is well versed in all aspects of litigation, from pre-litigation strategy to drafting pleadings, conducting case analyses, managing discovery, filing applications, negotiating settlements, as well as preparing for and running trials.
Darlene has appeared before the British Columbia Court of Appeal, the British Columbia Supreme Court, the Federal Court of Canada, and numerous administrative tribunals, including the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Tribunal, the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada and the Residential Tenancy Board.
