David is a partner in the Paul, Weiss Litigation Department and Deputy Chair of the Investment Management Litigation Practice Group. David focuses his practice on a wide variety of commercial litigation disputes and criminal and regulatory defense. He has significant experience litigating in federal and state courts at the trial and appellate levels. David has advised clients on topics including securities fraud, market manipulation, private fund litigation and enforcement matters, and insurance disputes. He has also represented clients in internal investigations and at all stages of criminal and regulatory investigations and proceedings.
While at Columbia Law School, David was a James Kent Scholar and a recipient of the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Prize. He served as Executive Notes Editor of the Columbia Law Review.
David also clerked for the Hon. Naomi Reice Buchwald, U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York and the Hon. Amalya L. Kearse, U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit.
