Edric Pan is the Deputy Managing Partner of Dentons Rodyk, and is a Senior Partner in Dentons Rodyk’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Arbitration practice groups. He co-heads its Employment and Insurance practices.
Edric has a very active and broad-based litigation and arbitration practice, with experience in a wide range of disputes including international commercial claims, cryptocurrency and blockchain disputes, breaches of directors' duties, multi-million dollar insurance claims, employment disputes, aviation claims, and professional disciplinary proceedings. Edric is regularly involved in many high profile, complex and high-value matters and has successfully represented clients up to the Court of Appeal.
On the Employment front, Edric regularly advises and represents parties in non-compete and wrongful termination disputes, among others.
In the Insurance field, Edric specialises in claims defence work. He has handled a wide range of contentious matters relating to all manner of insured losses spanning D&O, business interruption, property damage, personal injuries, aviation disasters and others.
In particular, he is a recognised specialist in professional negligence defence work, and in this field he is the “lawyers’ lawyer”, having acted for numerous other lawyers and law firms in defence of negligence claims. He has also represented other professionals such as architects, civil engineers, real-estate agents, auditors, insurance agents and other professionals in negligence claims.
