Eduardo da Rocha Schmidt is a founding Partner of Schmidt, Lourenço, Kingston Advogados Associados, and head of the Firm's Tax Law practice.
Eduardo holds his Law degree (LL.B) from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro - PUC-Rio. He also holds a post-graduate degree in Companies and Economy Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas - FGV, a Tax Law post-graduate degree from Tax Administration Superior School and Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. Eduardo holds an Executive MBA degree from the COPPEAD Institute (UFRJ).
Eduardo served as full board member in the 2nd Chamber of the 2nd Taxpayers' Counsil of the Secretary of Finance of Brazil (2000/2002) and as full board member in the 5th Chamber of the 1st Taxpayers' Counsil of the Secretary of Finance of Brazil (2003/2007). Eduardo also integrates the Comission for Studies of Tax of Brazilian Bar Association, Rio de Janeiro Section (CEAT-OAB/RJ).
