Glynnis Hawe is a partner at Paliare Roland Rosenberg Rothstein LLP in Toronto. Glynnis enjoys tackling novel and complex legal issues and has earned a reputation as a sophisticated and thoughtful advocate. She acts as counsel in all manner of commercial disputes, employment claims, professional regulatory matters, judicial reviews and appeals, and constitutional cases.
Glynnis recently appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada in what will be the Court’s first opportunity to take up the doctrine of spoliation in nearly 100 years. Grounded in a commitment to advocacy and social justice, Glynnis has also represented the Canadian Civil Liberties Association at the Divisional Court of Ontario, and the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples and Progress Toronto at the Supreme Court of Canada.
She regularly provides pro bono legal services with Pro Bono Ontario and as duty counsel at the Superior Court of Justice.
