Biography
Greg is a “go to” trial lawyer who represents plaintiffs and defendants in courts and arbitrations across the country. Greg has recovered billions of dollars in damages for plaintiffs—often without the need for litigation—and secured the dismissal of claims seeking billions of dollars in damages for defendants.
Like all attorneys at NWA, Greg is a litigation generalist. He has experience in matters involving securities, digital assets, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, RICO, trade secrets, defamation, employment, legal malpractice, patents, and cross-border disputes. His clients include private equity firms, hedge funds, real estate firms, broker-dealers, energy companies, pharmaceutical companies, insurers, stockholders, executives, and crypto-stakeholders.
Greg also serves as a consigliere to many of his clients, including by managing international disputes and advising on business, personnel, and strategic decisions to mitigate the risk of litigation. Clients also hire him to conduct internal investigations into some of their most sensitive matters.
Greg is a graduate of Columbia Law School, where he was a member of the Columbia Law Review and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and of Cornell University, cum laude. He is a member of the Federal Bar Council’s Securities Litigation Committee. He previously clerked for the Honorable John G. Koeltl of the Southern District of New York.

Recent matter/case highlights
- As lead Plaintiffs’ counsel in a fiduciary duty derivative action on behalf of the minority shareholders of Noble Environmental in Schatzow et al. v. Stork et al., C.A. No. 2024-0485-BWD (Del. Ch.), achieved a $55.3 million direct payment settlement plus significant additional transaction consideration through resolution of dilution claims. On an enterprise-wide basis, the recovery is valued in excess of $300 million, among the largest in the history of Delaware derivative litigation.
- Named a Litigator of the Week finalist for securing the dismissal of a putative multibillion-dollar theft of trade secrets and breach of fiduciary duty suit against ConsenSys Software Inc., ConsenSys AG, ConsenSys founder Joe Lubin, and developers Aaron Davis and Dan Finlay in California Superior Court following a three-hour hearing on motions to dismiss that he argued.
- Named a Litigator of the Week finalist for securing on behalf of ConsenSys AG and Ethereal Ventures the complete dismissal of a $500 million RICO class action in Delaware federal court on a motion to dismiss that he argued.
On behalf of ConsenSys Mesh founder Joe Lubin, secured a grant of a forum non conveniens application, with the New York Supreme Court holding that 27 ConsenSys Mesh minority investors must litigate their claims seeking hundreds of millions of dollars in damages in Switzerland.
- As lead trial counsel, obtained a victory for a major broker-dealer following an 18-day arbitration hearing in a theft of trade secrets, unfair competition, and non-solicitation provision suit against two former employees, while also defeating all counterclaims, including for defamation and tortious interference.
