James (Jim) practises litigation and dispute resolution, with a particular focus on shareholder and boardroom disputes. He has substantial experience in all levels of court, in the Ontario Securities Commission and in commercial arbitrations and mediations.
Jim is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a member of The Advocates’ Society. He is a frequent speaker on corporate securities law and litigation and arbitration practice at conferences organized by the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Institute and Federated Press.
Jim is a member of the editorial board of, and a contributor to, the Federated Press’ quarterly Corporate Litigation. He is also a former instructor and team leader at the Osgoode Hall Law School Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop.
