Jason Wadden

Before joining Tyr as Partner and head of its Insolvency and Restructuring practice, Jason was a senior partner at Goodmans LLP. Known as a creative and strategic lawyer, Jason specializes in complex litigation, insolvency and restructuring, corporate governance and stakeholder matters, fraud and corruption investigations and recovery, and class actions. In insolvency matters, he advises distressed companies, monitors, receivers and creditors in both the restructuring process and any resulting litigation. Drawing on his experience as a director in the public sector, Jason acts as an advisor to stakeholders in corporate governance matters, helping companies, directors and shareholders navigate and litigate governance and corporate issues. He is a lecturer for Osgoode Hall’s LLM course on Corporate Remedies and a class on shareholders remedies for the University of Toronto LLM program. He was also an adjunct professor at the Faculty of Law for Western University, teaching Complex Business Litigation and Civil Procedure.
