Kevin Barr is a Calgary-based partner at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP and head of the firm’s Insolvency & Restructuring group in Calgary. His practice focuses on complex insolvency, restructuring and commercial litigation matters, with particular strength at the intersection of insolvency and construction disputes. He regularly acts for debtors, secured creditors, financial institutions, receivers, trustees and court-appointed monitors in domestic and cross-border proceedings, including CCAA restructurings and receiverships. Kevin also has significant experience in construction litigation, representing owners, contractors and lenders in disputes involving construction and energy liens.
Kevin is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, Canadian Bar Association, Law Society of Alberta and Calgary Bar Association.
He was called to the Alberta Bar in 2000.
