Lachlan Campbell-Verduyn is a Partner in the firm's Litigation department, where she represents clients in intellectual property matters, complex commercial disputes, and investigations. She has extensive experience representing biotech and pharmaceutical companies in patent litigations on subject matters ranging from small molecules to biologics. She has litigated cases brought under the Hatch-Waxman Act and under the Biologics Price Competition and Innovation Act (BPCIA).
From 2019 to 2020, Ms. Campbell-Verduyn served as a law clerk to the Hon. Sharon L. Gleason of the United States District Court for the District of Alaska. Ms. Campbell-Verduyn received her J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School. has a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, in the Netherlands, where she completed her doctoral research in the group of Nobel Prize winner, Ben Feringa. She also has an undergraduate degree, with honors and distinction, in Chemistry from Mount Allison University, in Canada.
In 2025, Ms. Campbell-Verduyn was named to Lawdragon X – The Next Generation, a guide evaluating which young lawyers and law practices have had a significant impact in the field and determining the "next generation of legal leaders in America and around the world."
- Served as lead trial counsel representing Janssen Pharmaceuticals in three consolidated Hatch-Waxman patent infringement actions against Mylan Laboratories. Mylan filed three Abbreviated New Drug Applications with the FDA seeking to launch generic versions of Janssen’s Invega Trinza, a long-acting injectable antipsychotic for administration once every three months. A decision was issued in Janssen’s favor, which was upheld on appeal.
