Luis Duhart is an Associate Director in Selvam LLC and represents clients in construction, employment, insolvency, and general commercial matters in both arbitration and litigation. In particular, Luis represents clients in adjudications under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act and enforcement proceedings thereunder. Luis also represents Latin American clients in disputes matters involving Singaporean entities, particularly those relating to the Oil & Gas sectors.
On the non-contentious side, Luis assists in cross-border transactions involving Latin American parties, with a focus on direct foreign investment issues in Mexico.
Luis earned a J.D. from Singapore Management University in 2017, where he was a member of the championship team at the 2017 Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court. Luis holds B.A. from the University of Melbourne. He is a native speaker of Spanish and is also fluent in English.
