Matthew M. Martino represents a wide variety of clients in antitrust litigation, investigation and advisory matters, as well as those pertaining to all aspects of sports law. In the antitrust area, Mr. Martino has handled litigations — including class actions and appeals — involving alleged price-fixing, group boycotts, monopolization, other restraints of trade and merger challenges. Mr. Martino also provides general antitrust counseling, advising clients on compliance with state and federal antitrust laws, including issues relating to joint ventures, competitor collaborations, distribution arrangements and unilateral conduct. Mr. Martino was named by the Sports Business Journal as a 2021 Sports Law Power Player, in addition to being recognized as a Future Star in Benchmark Litigation. He is a member of Skadden’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee and previously served as hiring partner for the firm’s New York office.
