Patrick Thompson is an accomplished litigator with a corporate commercial practice focused on construction litigation. He has extensive experience in complex, multifac-eted claims requiring exceptional legal and management skills. Patrick acts for local, national and international clients, including owners and developers, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, designers and planners. Experienced in all manner of construction disputes, Patrick acts for clients in lien claims, and claims relating to extras, delay and acceleration, negligence, and breach of trust. He assists stakeholders in public-private partnerships (P3s) and parties to engineering-procurement-construction contracts, resolving disputes over construction delays, increased costs due to changes in site condition and changes in design. Patrick has appeared at various levels of court and arbitral tribunals in many Canadian provinces and practices in both official languages.
