The key areas of Raphaël’s practice are commercial, administrative, and municipal litigation, class actions, injunctions and cases involving fraud.
A lead lawyer on several complex cases, including class actions, and several multimillion-dollar cases, he represents public entities suing contractors for fraud and collusion. He is the author of a book on abuse of procedure published in 2014 and is frequently cited by the courts on this topic.
His extensive experience in administrative law and corporate and commercial litigation has earned him recognition from Canada’s major legal publications such as Benchmark Litigation, The Best Lawyers in Canada as well as Lexpert®. A former administrative law teacher at the Quebec Bar School, he holds a master’s degree on the subject. He joined IMK in 2015 after practicing for 15 years with a national firm.
