Sarah Péloquin is a Vancouver‑based partner at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP whose practice focuses on commercial arbitration and litigation. She acts for clients in a broad range of disputes, including contract, construction and real estate disputes, defamation matters and appeals, and regularly represents parties in significant domestic and international commercial arbitrations across sectors such as construction and infrastructure, energy, mining, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing. Sarah is frequently engaged to advise on the drafting and interpretation of arbitration and multi‑step dispute resolution clauses and to guide clients through related procedures, including settlement processes, referee proceedings and jurisdictional issues. She has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia and regularly acts in arbitration proceedings.
Sarah was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2017, the Ontario Bar in 2017, and the Saskatchewan Bar in 2019. She is actively involved in the arbitration community, including through the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution, ICC Canada’s Arbitration Committee of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Young Canadian Arbitration Practitioners, the Advocates’ Society, and the Association des juristes d’expression française de la Colombie‑Britannique. Sarah is fluently bilingual in English and French and advises clients in both official languages.
