Scott is a commercial litigation and arbitration lawyer with a focus on complex international and domestic disputes. He has advised clients across a variety of industries, including energy, mining, manufacturing, private equity, finance, gaming, pension and technology sectors. Scott also has experience working on matters involving anti-money laundering, cross-border litigation, shareholder, regulatory disputes, cryptocurrency, and the enforcement of foreign awards in Canada.
Scott has appeared in the courts of British Columbia and Ontario. He also has represented clients in international and domestic arbitrations seated in Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, India and the United Kingdom, as well as arbitration related court matters.
Prior to joining Lawson Lundell, Scott practiced international arbitration in the Hong Kong office of a global “magic circle” law firm and as a commercial litigation associate at a leading national law firm in Toronto.
