Mr. Liu Yanling has been engaged in debt crisis disposals, restructurings as well as bankruptcy reorganizations. Mr. Liu has been involved as an expert on the drafting of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Enterprise Bankruptcy. In addition, he is an innovator in applying bankruptcy reorganization procedures in relation to listed companies. Mr. Liu has extensive practical experience in dealing with the reorganization of listed companies, and on the reorganization of large enterprises in distressed and non-distressed situations. Mr. Liu Yanling has represented many enterprises providing effective and creative legal solutions for listed/ non-listed companies, securities companies, trust companies and financial leasing companies in debt crisis disposals, restructurings, as well as bankruptcy reorganizations.
Mr. Liu has been selected as one of the Top Ten Lawyers in Beijing and one of the Outstanding Lawyers in Beijing.
In the past years, Mr. Liu Yanling has been highly recognized by a number of global famous legal media. In 2015, Mr. Liu has been ranked as one of the Leading Individuals by Asialaw in its 2016 Asia Pacific rankings.
Mr. Liu Yanling joined King & Wood in 2002. In addition, he worked as a partner for a leading law firm in China from 1994 to 2001.
Mr. Liu Yanling received his LL.B. from Jilin University. He was admitted as a Chinese Lawyer in 1989.
