Mr. Guo has represented clients in numerous litigation cases before the Supreme People's Court of the PRC and various local courts, as well as arbitration cases administered by several leading Chinese arbitration institutions. Within the realms of commercial contracts, corporate governance, new energy, data, artificial intelligence, private equity funds, real estate, and finance, he boasts extensive experience and a profound understanding. Moreover, he has long been engaged in teaching courses to enterprises and legal interns, covering a range of topics including legal writing, court trial skills, and litigation management.

Acting for Luck Treat Limited, Newpower Enterprises Inc., Beijing HK CTS Grand Metropark Hotels Management Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Metropark Hotel Co., Ltd. (“the Clients”) on the validity of their arbitration agreement. The case was one of the first cases reviewed by the International Commercial Court of the Supreme Court after its establishment. Through his comprehensive and in-depth representation and innovative sense of responding to new situations, Mr. GUO promoted the formation of decision rules on the independence of arbitration clauses. This case has been recognised as Guiding Case No.196 by the Supreme Court.
Representing 13 natural persons (“the Clients”) in an equity transfer dispute. The case went to the Supreme Court for the second trial. The Clients lost the case completely in the first trial and appointed Mr. GUO to represent them in the second trial. In the absence of key evidence, Mr. GUO, through in-depth investigation and evidence collection, comprehensive litigation argumentation and excellent trial performance, helped the Clients to achieve a change of judgement in favour of the Clients, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the Clients of nearly CNY 200 million.
Representing a subsidiary of Chinese central state-owned enterprises (“the Client”) in a dispute over a contract of pre-sale of commercial property. The case went through the second instance and retrial procedures of the Supreme Court. In the absence of clear precedents, Mr. GUO found the key to the problem and eventually obtained a favourable judgement, and the Client’s claim for over CNY 100 million in liquidated damages was also upheld by the court.
Representing multiple investment institutions, including Deppon Logistics, ZhenFund, and Orchid Asia, etc. (“the Clients”), in equity repurchase disputes. Confronted with various issues arising from different types of repurchase disputes, Mr. GUO led the team in conducting in-depth research and analysis, securing favorable outcomes for the Client despite significant divergences in judicial practice. Meanwhile, Mr. GUO actively coordinated with the courts to efficiently process the Client's applications for property preservation, thereby laying the groundwork for the Client to realize its rights upon prevailing in the litigation.
Represented a subsidiary of a Chinese central state-owned enterprise (“the Client”) in resolving a dispute arising from the procurement of wind power equipment. The dispute involved an amount of approximately 130 million yuan. Mr. GUO assisted the Client in comprehensively and meticulously organizing case evidence, formulating a thorough arbitration strategy, and successfully secured a favorable arbitration award for the Client, which was subsequently enforced to recover the payment.
