Ms. Zhu Yuanyuan specializes in integrity and compliance program, government investigation, litigation and arbitration.
Ms. Zhu has represented many domestic companies in the investigation and/or sanction cases initiated by World Bank Group, Asia Development Bank or other Multi-lateral Development Banks. Ms. Zhu assisted clients in entering into settlement agreements with the banks, augmenting the compliance systems, and releasing the clients from sanctions.
Ms. Zhu has represented many multinational companies in FCPA investigations. Along with the U.S. counsels, Ms. Zhu advised on the investigation strategies in China, the interview plans and the disposal of responsible executives or employees according to Chinese laws.
Ms. Zhu has extensive experience in the pharmaceuticals & medical devices, automobile and finance industry, and she is familiar with the internal control systems of state-owned enterprises and multinational companies. Ms. Zhu has expertise in augmenting compliance systems, improving corporate policies and procedures regarding gift & entertainment, sponsorship and donation, bidding management, supplier management and accountability.
In 2020 and 2021, Ms. Zhu was selected as “the Next Generation Partner in the field of Regulatory and Compliance” by Legal 500. In 2021, Ms. Zhu was selected as “the Rising Star in the field of Healthcare and Life Sciences” by Legal 500.
Ms. Zhu joined King & Wood in 2010.
She received her LL.B from Peking University, and her LL.M from China Foreign Affair University in 2010.
