Lindsay Scott is a partner at Paliare Roland Rosenberg Rothstein LLP. She is a business-minded litigator that finds practical solutions to a wide range of employment and commercial disputes. Lindsay has represented businesses and individuals at all levels of court in Ontario, the Federal Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada. She is also frequently retained to conduct or advise organizations on sensitive workplace investigations.
Lindsay is often cited in the media, having offered her legal expertise on CTV News, CBC News: The National, in Chatelaine magazine, and various podcasts and radio shows. Lindsay’s work has also received significant recognition within the legal community. In 2023, Lindsay was recognized as Labour and Employment Litigator of the year by Benchmark Litigation Canada. In 2022, the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory listed Lindsay as “Repeatedly Recommended” for Commercial Litigation, Benchmark Litigation named her a Future Star and listed her on their 40 & Under List for Litigation. In 2021, Lexpert Magazine named her a Rising Star in Litigation (Leading Lawyer under 40). In 2020, Lindsay was featured on the cover of Precedent Magazine as a Precedent Setter Award recipient.
Lindsay is an active volunteer with Pro Bono Ontario’s Free Legal Advice Hotline, a frequent presenter on Continuing Legal Education panels, and is a co-founder of GROWL (Group of Racialized Ontario Women Litigators).
