The individual uncovered significant institutional fraud involving over USD 1 billion in false claims submitted to Medicare and Medicaid. Case value exceeds USD 1 billion.
- Representing a repeat whistleblower with extensive False Claims Act experience in a healthcare fraud case involving entities that contract with skilled nursing facilities to access patients and allegedly submit up-coded claims or claims for treatments that were ineligible or not medically necessary, resulting in improper billing to federal and state healthcare programs. Case value: USD 25 million to USD 50 million.
- Representing a former employee responsible for billing and coding services at a healthcare company in a fraud case filed in federal court in Maryland under federal and state False Claims Acts. Case value: USD 5 million to USD 10 million.
