Established in 2018, LIMN Law Corporation is a boutique that focuses on construction arbitration and litigation. Although most of the firm’s work is contentious related, it does offer general commercial disputes representation and advice on construction-related corporate matters. In a highlight, Lim and his team acted for an international infrastructure construction company in the marine civil engineering sector against the Public Utilities Board, Singapore’s national water agency, in a S$18 million ($13.2 million) dispute. The claim arose from construction work carried out at the Changi Water Reclamation Plant. This is the first known dispute of its kind against Singapore’s national water agency, and one of the largest – if not the largest – adjudication claims in Singapore since the enactment of the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act.
