It was the first firm to do a mediation case at the Vietnam Mediation Center, in 2018. Arbitration head Net Le is one of only two Vietnamese arbitrators on the panel of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). The firm has an office in Singapore to assist clients with SIAC arbitration and strengthen its international arbitration practice.

Firm managing partner Net Le is an international arbitration specialist, but his practice also focuses on banking and finance, infrastructure, construction and energy disputes. A recent highlight for the firm was successfully representing a multinational beverage company in a challenge to a massive fine of tens of millions of dollars imposed by income tax authorities. In another notable case, the team acted for a transportation committee in a high-value dispute related to the construction of Vietnam’s first underground metro line project.

The team successfully advised one of Vietnam’s largest power generation companies in a multi-million dollar dispute under the SIAC on its coal supply agreement and performance of the counterparty’s obligations. It also triumphed for a domestic petroleum giant in an SIAC arbitration relating to a supply and equipment maintenance contract. The IP litigation team acted for a key player in the Vietnamese tourism sector to protect its trademark against infringement.
