In a recent highlight, the team acted for Delhi Airport Metro Express on its battle against Delhi Metro Rail Corporation in relation to a dispute involving the construction of a high-speed airport express line. The team additionally successfully represented Tata Power Company against the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission in a dispute relating to the granting of a transmission licence on nomination basis. The Supreme Court of India by way of this judgment settled the position that large infrastructure projects can be awarded on nomination basis, departing from the competitive bidding route provided under a section of the Electricity Act.
