Shihui Partners’ dispute resolution team is active in commercial and transactions. It often represents clients in commercial dispute resolution cases in courts at all levels, including the Supreme Court and local high courts. It also advises clients on dispute matters related to equity investments and commercial transactions. Key partners of the practice include Mingze Jiang, Jiayu Zhang, Yulong Lai, Jiaying Wang and Mingjiang Weng.

In commercial and transactions, the firm is currently representing DHL Logistics, the leading operator of DHL Group in mainland China's supply chain sector, in a dispute pertaining to bonded warehousing goods within the Shanghai Free Trade Zone. The case is being heard at the Shanghai Arbitration Commission and involves well-known domestic and international enterprises. The owner of the goods is a renowned US-based semiconductor production equipment and high-tech service company. This complex case encompasses various legal issues, including logistics, warehousing, customs, and international chip trade. The amount involved in the dispute is nearly Rmb600 million ($83 billion).

In addition to this case, the team also represented DHL in handling foreign logistics contract disputes between DHL and world-famous wind power suppliers at the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, involving many places in the US and Europe. The case involves the tripartite relationship between government departments and well-known foreign enterprises, as well as the competition and cooperation between Danish arbitration procedures and domestic arbitration procedures. The team successfully persuaded the arbitration tribunal to support DHL in recovering logistics funds.

Shihui Partners also provided advisory services to Daoxila, K2VC and Kids R Kids in resolving disputes over the past 12 months.

In 2023, the firm hired Yihan Zang, Jingwei Guo, Youning Guo, and Jeff Liu as partners, further enhancing the firm's litigation capabilities.
