In a significant matter, the firm is currently representing Country Garden, a prominent China-owned property developer, in a significant and complex dispute involving 49 purchasers from multiple countries, including Malaysia, Singapore and China. These purchasers have collectively raised various allegations against Country Garden regarding their condominium units in Johor, leading to a legal battle in the High Court of Johor Bahru. This high-profile class  action lawsuit has the potential to involve up to 9,000 purchasers and billions of Malaysian Ringgit. Notably, it is associated with one of Malaysia's largest development projects, making it a significant event that sheds light on contractual laws, misrepresentation, fraud, and housing laws and their legal implications. The case's outcome will have far-reaching consequences, shaping the legal landscape for class action lawsuits and large-scale development projects in Malaysia and beyond.

Key clients of the firm include AerCap Ireland, Hitachi Sunway Information Systems, Peregrine Aviation Charlie and UEM Sunrise.

In March 2023, the firm's IP team expanded with the addition of Kim Poh Ng as a partner. Ng brings valuable experience from his previous role at Christopher & Lee Ong, where he specialised in intellectual property, sports and gaming matters.
